Gyeonjeon-eui is a simple ritual in front of the gate, right before Balin to move the coffin of the King to royal tomb. It will be a touching ceremony to say farewell to the King, reading Ahechak-moon, a writing to morn the death of Danjong.
Artist Lee Gi-jeon, the holder of artistic skill of Jongmyo Jaerye, the 56th Intangible Cultural Asset and his apprentices participate as Jipsa-ja to lead the ceremony and Park Sun-gyu, governor of Yeongwol participates as Daejeon-gwan to offer sacred wine to the alter, instead of the King.

Balin-eui is a ceremony to load the coffin of the King to funeral bier and depart to the burial site and it is executed related to Gyebin-eui to be part of Jaegoong-i ceremony

Fantasy performance with a huge marionette of King Danjong “Cheonji Gaebeok (Creation of Heaven and Earth)＂

Performance of King Danjong’s revival from the death with 5m-tall marionette of Danjong and his knights and faithful subjects who became goblin

[Performance synopsis]
Shamans (community arts band) in Dan-O Park perform a ceremony to call back the spirit of Danjong.
The gate to heaven opens and they call back Danjong. The shamans move along the road, doing the ritual to heaven, holding a puppet in hand.
